It decodes 32 channels of 1080p in real time with H.264 and H.265, and it supports a video wall scale of up to 4. It suits control rooms, security operations centres and larger monitoring walls. Procure.ae supplies it in the UAE.

The DS-6904UDI(C) drives four HDMI 1.4 outputs, each up to 4K (3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz), plus one CVBS BNC output. It decodes 32 channels of 1080p or 64 channels of 720p in real time in H.264 and H.265, and it can show 32 channels of 2 MP video on the wall at the same time. Outputs 1 to 4 form a group that shares decoding capacity. Audio decodes from G.711, G.722.1, G.726, AAC and PCM sources and reaches the outputs as embedded HDMI audio or DB15-to-BNC audio.

The decoder accepts network cameras, NVRs and other network sources, plus HDMI input from computers and video conference terminals. It supports rotate-mode decoding for camera video up to 2560 × 1440 and can encode one 4K@30 Hz or two 1080p@60 Hz channels. Connectivity includes two network ports (one RJ-45 and one optical 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X), RS-232, RS-485 and two USB 2.0 ports. Compared with the DS-6901UDI(C), which has one output, this model has four outputs and more decoding channels.

Key Features

Four HDMI outputs - Four HDMI 1.4 outputs, each able to show up to 4K (3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz).

Two HDMI inputs - Two HDMI 1.4 inputs, with 4K input on the odd-numbered port only.

Decoding capacity - 32 channels of 1080p or 64 channels of 720p in real time.

Video wall scale - Video wall scale of up to 4, with window division from 1 to 36.

Frame synchronization - Keeps all HDMI outputs synchronized, without lag, frame loss or tearing.

Alarm I/O - Eight alarm inputs and eight alarm outputs for external devices.

Network ports - One RJ-45 Ethernet port and one optical 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X port, with self-adapting connection.

Serial and USB - RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports plus two USB 2.0 ports.

Ideal for: control rooms, security operations centres, large video walls and monitoring rooms, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider GCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Hikvision DS-6904UDI(C) do?

It is a 4K video wall decoder with four HDMI 1.4 outputs.
