It decodes 16 channels of 1080p in real time with H.264 and H.265 and supports 1 to 16 window divisions. It suits control rooms and monitoring rooms. Procure.ae supplies it in the UAE.

The decoder drives one HDMI 1.4 output at up to 4K (3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz) and one CVBS BNC output. It decodes 16 channels of 1080p and lower resolution in real time in H.264 and H.265, and 4 channels of 1080p in MJPEG. Each screen supports four layers of 1080p or two layers of 4K. The unit decodes both sub-streams and main streams and switches to sub-streams automatically when the window division reaches the threshold.

The decoder accepts network cameras, NVRs and other network sources, as well as HDMI input from computers and video conference terminals. It connects over a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port and through RS-232 and RS-485 serial interfaces. Eight alarm inputs and eight alarm outputs allow integration with external devices. Compared with the DS-6904UDI(C), which has four HDMI outputs, this model has one output and a lower decoding capacity.

Key Features

4K HDMI output - One HDMI 1.4 output at 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz, plus lower resolutions.

16-channel decoding - Decodes 16 channels of 1080p and lower resolution in real time.

Window division - Splits the output into 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12 or 16 windows.

Stream flexibility - Decodes sub-streams and main streams, switching to sub-streams at the window threshold.

Video input sources - Accepts network cameras, NVRs, computers and video conference terminals.

Alarm I/O - Eight alarm inputs and eight alarm outputs for external devices.

Serial and network control - One RS-232 port, one RS-485 port and a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port.

Audio decoding - Decodes G.711, G.722.1, G.726, AAC and PCM audio through HDMI or RCA.

Ideal for: control rooms, security operations centres, video wall and monitoring rooms, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider GCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Hikvision DS-6901UDI(C) do?

It is a 4K video wall decoder. It takes video from network cameras, NVRs and computers and shows it on one HDMI output at up to 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD). It decodes 16 channels of 1080p in real time with H.264 and H.265 streams.

How many channels can it decode?

It decodes 16 channels of 1080p and lower resolution in real time with H.264 or H.265 streams.
