Epson Surecolor SC-P6000 24" Large Format Printer

Epson's SureColor P6000 24" Large-Format Inkjet Printer that utilizes the latest PrecisionCore TFP Print Head and PrecisionDot Screening Technology along with a nine-color UltraChrome HD pigment-based ink set with auto-switching black ink technology to produce vivid, brilliant images at a finely detailed resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi.

Operation is simple with a top-loading feed for both rolls and cut-sheet media. There is also a built-in rotary cutter for automatically cutting prints from rolls and the front control panel has a 2.7" color LCD screen for checking print status and settings. And, it has both USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity for setting up the unit as you need it.

PrecisionDot Screening technology furthers the printer's quality by using advanced math to calculate dot size and placement using a variable-sized droplet system. Also, users can manually program print head cleanings to ensure optimal performance at all times.
This model can handle both cut-sheet and roll media up to 24" wide and can produce large, panoramic prints up to 529" in length. The P6000 is also capable of working quickly, producing a 16 x 20" print as fast as 2 minutes 2 seconds.

Featuring an UltraChrome HD eight-colour pigment ink-set, the SC-P6000 STD delivers 93% of Pantone®-certified colours to create superior-quality, highly-accurate results with bright, vivid colours. For stunning prints, an Advanced Black and White Mode helps produce high density, deep, rich blacks and ultra-smooth tones.

Utilising an Epson TFP PrecisionCore printhead and automated nozzle-check function, users can be sure they will deliver consistent results and the highest quality output. Consistent colour reproduction is guaranteed, time after time and without the need for expensive add ons, thanks to an Epson Colour Calibration utility and optional Spectroproofer powered by X-Rite for fast, accurate colour measurement.

Every aspect of the printer has been designed to maximise ease of use and reliability. Media changing is fast and simple with a clear LCD control panel and menu, while a choice of 350ml and 700ml individual cartridges enables longer print runs between cartridge replacements. With an optional 320Gb hard disk, users can free up their computer and store multiple jobs onto the printer ready for output.

Thanks to a superior lightfastness, prints will continue to look their best long after they are created. In fact, prints on Premium Glossy Photo Paper can last a minimum of 60 years.
