Fully configured, it decodes 320 channels at 1080P and splices up to 160 LCD units. It supports 4K/30 fps video inputs and outputs. Procure.ae supplies the Dahua DSCON3000-7U in the UAE for video wall projects.

The DSCON3000-7U is a 7U ATCA multi-screen controller that handles analog and digital video through pluggable input and output cards. Fully configured, it decodes 320 channels at 1080P or 1,280 channels at D1, and supports 4K/30 fps video inputs and outputs. Its IP HD matrix switches up to 1,024 IP inputs, and it splices up to 160 LCD units with zoom, merge, roam and overlay functions. An FPGA array framework and a PCI-E bus provide high system bandwidth for the switch matrix.

The DSCON3000-7U suits large video wall projects that need high channel counts and many splicing screens in one chassis. It is managed from a PC client, local GUI, network keyboard or iPad, and its two RJ-45 gigabit ports handle matrix control and preview. It draws 90 W minimum and 590 W fully configured, and the chassis weighs up to 35 kg. Compared with the 4U model, it adds more decoding channels and supports 160 LCD units instead of 80.

Key Features

ATCA Chassis - 19-inch standard 7U ATCA industry box with a high-speed passive rear panel.

Decoding Capacity - 320 channels at 1080P or 1,280 channels at D1 decoding when fully configured.

4K Video Path - Supports 4K/30 fps video inputs and 4K/30 fps outputs.

Large Splicing - Splices up to 160 LCD display units.

Pluggable Card Design - Pluggable card modules for easy, flexible configuration.

PCI-E Bus - PCI-E bus and FPGA array framework for high system bandwidth.

Redundant Power - Redundant power is optional, with a smart temperature-controlled fan.

Remote Operation - Remote reboot, upgrade and default-setting operations.

Ideal for: large video wall projects, multi-screen splicing, high-channel-count decoding, analog and digital matrix switching, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider GCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What inputs does the DSCON3000-7U accept?

It accepts analog, digital and IP sources.
