The Fluke 177 True-RMS Digital Multimeter is a professional 6000-count DMM with True-RMS AC measurement, backlit display, capacitance, temperature, and Min/Max/Average recording for electricians and technicians across the UAE.
The Fluke 177 is positioned directly above the Fluke 175 in Fluke's 170 series DMM range, adding a backlit display for clear reading in dim switchrooms, low-visibility plant areas, and underfloor installations where an unlit display would be difficult to read. Like the 175 and 179, the 177 measures True-RMS AC voltage and current for accurate readings on non-linear loads such as motor drives, UPS systems, and switched-mode power supplies where average-responding meters produce incorrect readings. It measures AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode, and continuity, and includes a K-type thermocouple temperature input for measuring circuit board temperatures, air temperatures, and contact temperatures with an optional probe. Min/Max/Average recording captures signal variations over time for fault diagnosis on intermittent or varying electrical parameters.
