The Fluke 27 II is a 4000-count True-RMS digital multimeter engineered to the IP67 standard — fully dustproof and waterproof to 1 metre depth — for use in industrial environments where a standard DMM would be damaged by water, dust, metal shavings, and humidity. It is drop-rated to MIL-PRF-28800F Class 2 for shock resistance in environments where test equipment is subject to drops from heights. The rugged outer housing and sealed input jacks prevent contamination of the instrument's electronics in chemical plant areas, outdoor electrical substations, dusty manufacturing environments, and marine/offshore applications. The Fluke 27 II measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, continuity, diode test, and temperature — covering the full range of field electrical measurement tasks — in a form factor that can be hosed down after use in contaminated environments.
