The 1663 performs all required tests in a single instrument: insulation resistance (IR) testing at 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V; earth continuity and protective conductor resistance; loop impedance (Ze and Zs); prospective short-circuit current (PSCC); RCD test (type AC, A, and F); and polarity check. The UK model is configured with BS 1363 plug socket test adapter leads appropriate for UK-standard installations.
