The Fluke 1630-2 FC Earth Ground Clamp is a stake-free clamp-on earth electrode resistance tester with Bluetooth and Fluke Connect wireless connectivity for fast, non-disruptive ground testing across the UAE.
The Fluke 1630-2 FC is a clamp-on earth ground resistance tester that measures the resistance of grounded electrodes in multi-earth neutral (MEN) and parallel-bonded earthing systems without driving stakes, disconnecting the electrode, or interrupting the electrical system. By clamping around the earth conductor or electrode lead and injecting a signal, the 1630-2 measures the loop resistance of the entire earth system path including the electrode and the return via the neutral and parallel earth path — a rapid measurement approach suited for routine inspection of earthing systems across distributed sites. The FC (Fluke Connect) variant adds Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing measurements to be transferred in real time to the Fluke Connect app on a smartphone or tablet for documentation, trending, and team sharing without paper records. Internal memory stores up to 32,760 measurements for long-duration data collection.
