The Connect-X MP6 extends a room control system over Ethernet. It has one bidirectional RS-232/IR port with feedback, two unidirectional RS-232/IR ports and three GPIO ports. The unit can control two additional IP devices over the LAN, and its Ethernet port runs at 10/100 Mbps with autosense. Each I/O can draw up to 24 V DC at 500 mA, and the unit weighs only 110 g.

The Connect-X MP6 suits meeting rooms and learning spaces where a touch panel or keypad needs more third-party device control. It is PoE powered under IEEE 802.3at Class 1 (4 W), so one CAT5e or CAT6 cable handles both power and data. It mounts with screws, zip ties or double-sided tape. Unlike the Impera Echo keypads, which add eight buttons and an onboard controller, the Connect-X MP6 focuses on extra RS-232/IR, GPIO and LAN control ports.
