A proximity sensor turns the screen on as someone approaches, and display brightness adjusts to the ambient light level. The panel is powered over PoE (IEEE 802.3at Class 2, 7 W) through a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable, and it weighs 160 g. The manufacturer lists compatibility with Impera Alfa II, Impera Lima, Impera Tango and Impera Sierra II controllers, and its firmware can be updated through the mini USB port.

The Touch 4 suits small conference and meeting rooms where a compact panel is enough for room control. Project Designer software offers several UI design templates and themes, and the interface can be customized to fit corporate identity. The panel fits standard single-gang US, EU and DK back boxes, and its magnetic wall plate makes installation easier. Compared with the Apprimo Touch 10, it has a smaller 4-inch display at 800 x 480 rather than a 10-inch display at 1280 x 800.

Key Features

Workplace Control support - Software-based control with Project Designer templates and themes.

4-inch touch LCD - High-contrast capacitive touch display with 800 x 480 resolution.

Scratch-resistant glass - Glass surface built for long-term reliability.

Proximity wake - The screen turns on automatically as someone approaches.

Ambient light brightness - Display brightness adjusts to the ambient light level.

Magnetic wall plate - A magnetic wall plate makes installation easier.

PoE powered - IEEE 802.3at Class 2, 7 W, over one CAT5e or CAT6 cable.

Warranty and compliance - 5-year warranty, with CE marking and RoHS compliance.

Ideal for: small conference rooms and meeting rooms, room booking and room control installations, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider GCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Biamp Apprimo Touch 4 used for?

It is a 4-inch PoE touch panel for room control in small conference and meeting rooms.
